The National Health Insurance Company – Daman has partnered with the UAE’s home-grown instant doctor appointment booking platform, Okadoc, easily accessible for insured members via Daman’s mobile app.

This strategic partnership provides Daman’s Enhanced and Abu Dhabi Basic plan members hassle-free visibility of healthcare providers included within their policy network, and they can narrow down their search based on location, speciality, and language. With just a few clicks, patients can book an appointment, receive reminders, reschedule or cancel - all while on the move.

At the launch, more than 50% of the most preferred network of hospitals and doctors for Daman members have already signed up for the direct appointment booking via Daman’s app, a number which is growing by the hour. This includes Health Plus Clinic, Mediclinic, and Medcare Hospitals. Healthcare providers in the Daman network, who are not on Okadoc’s platform today, can sign up to the service, free of charge, to ease the process of booking Daman’s members appointment through the applications and benefiting from the platform.

Daman members are encouraged to download the Daman’s mobile application through both iOS and Android.
