The endearing character was named after a teddy bear owned by his son Christopher Robin Milne, who was the basis for the character Christopher Robin.

The honey-loving bear and his friends have entertained families for over 90 years, with their many adventures and important messages of friendship having had numerous adaptations. The beloved story book and adored characters have appeared in theatrical featurettes, television series, as well as feature-length films such as Tigger the Movie, Piglet’s Big Movie and Winnie the Pooh.

In the heartwarming live action adventure Disney’s “Christopher Robin,” the young boy who embarked on countless adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood with his band of spirited and lovable stuffed animals, has grown up and lost his way. Now it is up to his childhood friends to venture into our world and help Christopher Robin remember the loving and playful boy who is still inside.

EWAN MCGREGOR plays Christopher Robin, a businessman who was once an imaginative boy. Since his childhood he has grown up and started a family in the city of London, leaving his childhood with Pooh and the others in the past. He keeps their memory alive to some degree by sharing stories about them with his daughter. Nevertheless, the hardships of adulthood have taken their toll on Christopher, endangering his relationships and happiness. Much to his surprise, he is one day reunited with Pooh, who had been searching for him.

HAYLEY ALTWELL is Evelyn Robin, Christopher’s wife who wishes her beloved husband wouldn’t work as much and fears he’s missing his children growing up.

BRONTE CARMICHAEL plays Madeline Robin, Christopher Robin’s daughter. Much like her father at his age, Madeline is kind, gentle, friendly and brave. She is worries about her father’s workaholic tendencies, she is also one of the few people who knows that Winnie the Pooh and the rest of the Hundred Acre Wood residents are alive.

JIM CUMMINGS is the voice of Winnie the Pooh and Tigger. Pooh bear is a whimsical, soft-spoken teddy bear who, despite being naive and slow-witted, is a friendly, thoughtful and sometimes insightful character who is always willing to help his friends and try his best. In an effort to help his oldest friend Christopher Robin rediscover his youth, he enlists his closest friends on an adventure. Tigger is one of Pooh bears quick witted friends. Known for his distinctive orange and black stripes, and springy tail with his love of bouncing. As he says himself, “bouncing is what Tigger’s do best” he never refers to himself as a ‘tiger’, but as a ‘Tigger’.

BRAD GARETT voices the compassionate character Eeyore. Despite his depressive nature Eeyore is extremely kind hearted, and is one of Pooh Bears core friends. Out of his friends, Eeyore is the most reluctant to go along with their plans and adventures, but does not oppose them as he believes it to be futile to try.

NICK MOHAMMED voices Winnie the Pooh’s closest friend; Piglet. Despite his small size, shy demeanour and nervous stutter, Piglet is one of the bravest of Pooh’s friends. He has a lot of hidden courage and will face danger to help others, even when afraid.

PETER CAPALDI is the voice of Rabbit, Winnie the Pooh’s most practical friend who tends to often take the lead, though not always with the results that he intends. Rabbit values organisation and order, and is very easily frustrated, often due to the chaos caused by his friends, mainly Tigger.
