Among a total of 25 accolades scooped up by Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas’ portfolio of luxury properties around the world, Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort was recognized in two major rankings in the 2020 Condé Nast Traveller US and UK Readers’ Choice Awards. The awards represent the most highly respected ranking of hotels, as voted for by the magazine’s discerning readers who classified a selection of Anantara’s luxury portfolio as among the best in the world.
This year, as part of the travel industry’s most prestigious annual awards, more than 715,000 Condé Nast Traveller readers submitted an incredible number of responses rating their travel experiences across the globe. “The results of this year’s survey, conducted at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, are a testament to the lasting power of meaningful travel experience,” said Jesse Ashlock, U.S. Editor of Condé Nast Traveler. “The winners represent the best of the best for our audience and offer plenty of trip-planning inspiration for all the adventures we can’t wait to have next.”
Leading these great results as one of six Anantara properties voted in the Top 10 Middle East Resorts category, Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar bagged the 2nd spot, placing as the highest-ranking resort in Oman. Its sister property, Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara follows these great results ranking #7 among many other formidable hotels in the same category.
