Thanks to an announcement by the Department of Culture and Tourism allowing hotel spas to reopen, Anantara Spa invites guests to return for the first time since March 2020 and seekers of bliss will be spoilt for choice. The tranquil haven offers an array of treatments and therapies drawn from traditions across Arabia and Asia, to relax, rejuvenate and renew, including some new additions.
For ultimate relaxation, Reviving Wellness is a deep aromatherapy massage focused on detoxification and healing, while the decadent Indigenous Experience combines a steam, argan and black soap massage, kessa mitt exfoliation and luxurious shampoo and conditioning with delectable local products. The Kati Vasti treatment draws techniques from ancient Ayuveda and uses warm oils to ease lower-back pain, while a Chakra Healing rebalances the body and unblocks stagnant energy. Velvet Glow combines a full body magnesium scrub and massage for visible brighter skin.
Guests can relax and revive with peace of mind thanks to a raft of safety measures based on guidelines from the local authorities. These include strict social distancing, thorough sanitation schedules and single-use consumables. “The wellbeing of our guests is our top priority,” says Anantara Spa Director Chane Sandor, “and we look forward to making them feel pampered and at ease as we adhere to expert advice while delivering the world-class indulgence experiences for which Anantara is renowned.”
