For Spring/Summer 2019, DKNY focuses on the season’s key trends: athleisure and sports luxe, combining fashion forward styles with sporty touches and fabrics; Logo Mania, reworking the iconic logo in every way imaginable - oversized, allover, deconstructed, nothing is off limits; and unisex, a selection of shorts and parkas that boys and girls will be equally eager to wear. All rounded off with that signature New York attitude.
Bursting with 90’s nostalgia and pops of color, DKNY kids will be filling their wardrobes with neon yellow skirts and rain macs, pink berry bombers and jersey separates and royal blue sweatshirts and shorts, with flashes of shiny silver. Fabrics are equally diverse. Technical sporty materials such as nylon, mesh and piqué cotton contrast with stonewashed 90’s denim and feminine pleated satin. Standout details include sporty Velcro, urban mesh, the slogan of the season, “Only In DKNY”, taken from the adults’ collection, and the powerful message “Girls are the Future”.
This season also sees the return of the infant range for boys and girls from 6 months to 3 years, and a collection of fashion-forward shoes.
