“Empowering national youth is our goal” is the logo and vision that embedded Dubai Customs’ efforts in recruiting and attracting Emirati university graduates to work with them. With this logo Dubai Customs is taking part in the UAE Career Fair 2019 with more focus on the people of determination (special needs) segment. A total of 60 vacancies will be dedicated for the people of determination.

The UAE reiterated its call for collective international action to boost and fast-track sustainable development outcomes at the fourth session of the UN Environment Assembly (UNEA-4), that took place under the theme ‘Innovative Solutions for Environmental Challenges and Sustainable Consumption and Production’. The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE) led the UAE delegation to the global summit in the Kenyan capital Nairobi.

Under the sponsorship and presence of His Excellency Dr Thani Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, Dubai Customs, represented by the Service Innovation Department, joined the Innovation Talks organized by the Ministry.

On Emirati Children’s Day, Khawla Al Serkal, Director General of Sharjah Ladies Club, said: "The UAE has made remarkable achievements in the field of child care, health, safety, education and wellbeing. These achievements reflect a cohesive national strategy, to elevate the status of children and prepare them for the future, enabling them to contribute to the nation’s development."

The Department of Government Relations (DGR) – Sharjah, took a high-level delegation to Barcelona, Spain, from March 11-14, 2019, to explore new areas of bilateral interest with their Spanish counterparts. The delegation discussed best practices and latest methodologies Sharjah has adopted in the sectors of education, socioeconomic development and healthcare, and discussed ways to strengthen future cooperation with Spain in these areas.
