Emirates Post has re-started operations to India, providing a cost-effective option to UAE residents and businesses to ship goods to the world’s seventh largest economy. The move marks the continuance of all services - Economy Mail, Standard Mail, Registered Mail, Standard Packets, Standard Parcels and Express Parcels - after a period of limited operations in the wake of restrictions imposed on the travel and transport due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dubai Airport Freezone Authority (DAFZA) has signed a Memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (CCAB) with the aim of on boarding the Chamber as an HTMC service partner, during a webinar held by CCAB on June 10. The MoU signing ceremony was attended by Ms. Amna Lootah, DAFZA's assistant director-general, and Mr. Rubens Hannun, CCAB president, in addition to officials from both sides.

The National Creative Relief Fund launched by the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development in May 2020 has announced financial grants to 87 creative individuals and SMEs operating in the cultural and creative industries. The grant, which was ranged between 15 – 50,000 dirhams is distributed among 50 individuals and 37 companies to help them overcome the financial difficulties caused by COVID-19.

The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry, SCCI, has recently announced the completion of 15% of the infrastructure development project for the 10th industrial zone in Sharjah. The project is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the UAE Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and in collaboration with the Sharjah Department of Town Planning and Survey, Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA), and Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA).
