The Sharjah FDI Office (Invest in Sharjah), an affiliate of the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), organised an interactive business webinar via the Zoom platform on Wednesday, August 26, to introduce the emerging prospects and investment opportunities in competitive sectors to potential investors and businesses from across India, and to highlight the range of services and facilities offered by various government organisations in Sharjah.  

EWINGS, managing operator of Emirates Loto, has announced the final location in Dubai for in-store refunds as Sheaar Al Madina Supermarket in Al Qusais Industrial Area, where participants can return collectables purchased from a store following the final Emirates Loto draw. Participants who purchased collectables online or offline and are still yet to request a refund, will have until 15th September of this year.

The Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) is celebrating the successful delivery of UFC Fight IslandTM, establishing the Emirate of Abu Dhabi as an ideal destination and global partner to high-profile events. UFC Fight IslandTM featured the creation of a world-class ‘safe zone’ for approximately 2,500 people over five weeks on Yas Island as well as one of UFC’s most watched fight nights of all time.

‘Salam Beirut’, an emergency aid campaign aimed to provide emergency relief for victims of the devastating explosion that struck Port Beirut, launched by Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Chairperson of The Big Heart Foundation (TBHF) and Eminent Advocate for Refugee Children at UNHCR, has commenced work on the repairs and restoration of 485 homes destroyed in the Beirut explosion, which will enable 2,900 victims –225 of which are refugees– to return to their dwellings in the next six months.
