Emirates Loto, the region’s first fully digital collectables scheme with optional free entry to a weekly draw still has got a huge AED 50 million up for grabs this weekend. The last draw saw four residents share the second tier rollover of AED 2 million, taking home a huge AED 500,000 each. With the next live draw falling on USA Independence Day, could it be the first draw in Emirates Loto history that sees a lucky winner become financially independent with AED 50 million?
Last weekend saw a 28-year-old Irish school teacher bag a share of the AED 2 million cash prize. Barry Dwyer, a UAE resident, was in total shock when he was contacted by Emirates Loto as he had forgotten that he’d even entered the draw. Barry pledged that with his winnings he would help his large family back in Ireland and to find some worthwhile causes to support.
Mariser Alibudbud Jarumayan and Jinkhie Solomon Gallarzan were two of the other winners; both mothers from Philippines. They too were overwhelmed and emotional with their wins. Mariser said that she will share her blessings with her family’s local church in Philippines as well as her family, and Jinkhie will cover her son’s education to secure his future along with good causes in Philippines.
The fourth winner was from Pakistan but opted to remain anonymous.
The next live draw will take place at 9.00PM this coming Saturday, 4 July. The draw may be viewed live on www.emiratesloto.com, Emirates Loto’s social media platforms and on Asianetnews Facebook page.
