  • ‘Drawing Lines’ art book launches in Dubai, reveals Lebanese identity through street art

    Drawing Lines’, an art book that depicts the diversity and undaunted spirit of Lebanese identity, launches in the UAE, at Cities Dubai in Galleria Mall on 27th and 28th February 2019. With a rich two hundred-page spread, ‘Drawing Lines’ sheds light on a population of lost identities, with snippets captured through raw street art. Each page of ‘Drawing Lines’ tells a different story, through the works of dozens of graffiti artists found on the streets of Beirut, comprised of both local and international talent.

  • “The Comeback” Refining Who We Are

    On 2nd of October Bourn Hall Fertility Centre will open its space to showcase the artworks of the inspiring artist Afshan Quraishi, titled “The Comeback”, as the title suggests, Afshan’s work will depict her journey of growth through perseverance and positive energy. The show will be graciously inaugurated by Sandi Saksena, who is on the advisory board of the CEO Clubs’s Business Women's Division, and will be followed by an interactive self-healing session by the Bourn Hall Fertility Centre’s Coach & Counselor, Priyanka Bhatia.


    Milano Design Week, the largest and most famous event celebrating design around the world, is the setting for a collaborative, large-scale light installation by LG and Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka. Entitled TOKUJIN YOSHIOKA x LG: S.F_Senses of the Future, the impressive work seeks to illustrate humanity’s relationship with the natural world and to illuminate LG’s human-centric design philosophy. The installation is on exhibit from 4-9 April at Superstudio Più in Milan.

  • 15 Rembrandts on display at Louvre Abu Dhabi

    CNN goes behind the scenes of the Louvre Abu Dhabi’s major new exhibition on the Dutch Golden Age.

    The exhibition delves into the work of Dutch masters including Jan Lievens, Gerard Dou and Rembrandt Van Rijn – with 15 Rembrandt paintings and drawings on show, the largest number to ever be showcased in the Middle East. The exhibition also reunites two pieces by Johannes Vermeer, the first time in over 300 years that the paintings will be side by side.
