Launched in October 2017, Lock&Stock is a free mobile application that incentivizes UAE students for not using their phones in class. Students can use their rewards to (1) redeem offers and discounts from partner brands, and (2) apply for available jobs and internships. As of May 2018, Lock&Stock boasts over 12,000 registered students and 200 partner brands on the application, a few notable ones being Novo Cinemas, VOX Cinemas, New York Fries, FiLLi Café, Zomato, Careem, Talabat, Nando’s and Yas Waterworld. There are over 350 education institutes around the country currently affiliated with Lock&Stock.
