Wamda, the leading entrepreneurship empowering organisation that supports and invests in some of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region’s most successful and innovative startups – including Mumzworld, BitOasis and Careem – has launched a first-of-its-kind fellowship programme for the region’s most aspiring entrepreneurs.

The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) participated in the activities of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival 2018, which was organized by the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa). The festival, which was held under the patronage of Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairperson of Sheraa, took place during November 20-21 at the Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club. The participation of the Chamber as a silver sponsor to the festival is due to the chamber’s role in strategically participating to ensure the success of the emirate’s economic events, and to translate its efforts towards promoting the concepts of social responsibility.

Ford Middle East and Africa recently brought to a close its inaugural Henry Ford Entrepreneurship Academy (HFEA) Mobility and Future Transportation workshop in Dubai, where it has hosted a unique three-day event at the UAE Ministry of Youth Affairs’ Youth Hub.

Food Endeavors, a new concept by culinary incubator, Kitchen Nation, has opened its doors, bringing together a tailored collection of restaurants, offering both, a delivery and dine-in option. Located in Business Bay, Dubai, this is Kitchen Nation’s second branch in the UAE.
