The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP)  has launched a child-friendly robotic service at Dibba Hospital to ensure the happiness of sick children, reduce and overcome the fear of visiting hospitals.

As part of their Ramadan initiative, RAK Hospital has launched a Ramadan campaign, “Eat Right – Eat Light” to guide people on ways to make a smooth and healthy transition to fasting. The hospital is providing free consultation with the nutritionist for UAE residents, starting a week before Ramadan and ending a week after Eid with focus on pre-, during and post-Ramadan holistic healing. While open to everyone, the campaign is particularly beneficial for patients suffering from chronic ailments, such as diabetes and cardiac issues, who will be guided on best ways to fast through the month safely.

Binta Fatima, a Nigerian national aged 35, had lost hope to bear children after having recurrent IVF failures from previous procedures done in Africa. However, when she got to know of Dr. Archana Ashtekar, Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology (with fellowship in Reproductive Medicine, Infertility and IVF) at Bareen International Hospital - MBZ City, she wasted no time and travelled to the UAE to seek medical treatment. Doctors at Bareen International Hospital diagnosed Binta with a rare and complicated medical case that is the leading cause of her recurrent IVF failures.

The Ministry of Public Health and Prevention (MoHAP), represented by Al Qassimi Hospital, Sharjah, organized recently Endocrine Conference. The event was held at Hilton Sharjah with the participation of a number of relevant researchers, consultants, and international speakers. Also, present at the conference were doctors, internal medicine nurses in various government and private hospitals.
